Human Resources and Recruitment
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various positions within the agency. Source candidates through online channels, networking events, job fairs, and other creative avenues to build a robust talent pipeline. Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidate qualifications, including resume reviews, phone interviews, and skills assessments.
- Candidate Experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and support. Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a positive and seamless experience for candidates and interviewers alike. Gather feedback from candidates and interviewers to continuously improve the recruitment process and enhance the candidate experience.
- Onboarding and Orientation: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including the completion of necessary paperwork, orientation sessions, and introductions to key team members. Collaborate with hiring managers to develop onboarding plans tailored to the specific needs of each new employee, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles. Follow up with new hires to address any questions or concerns and provide ongoing support as they acclimate to their positions.
- Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, immigration requirements, and data privacy regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, including employment contracts, performance evaluations, and training records. Prepare and distribute internal communications related to HR policies, procedures, and updates as needed.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a trusted resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, including benefits, policies, and procedures. Address employee concerns and grievances in a timely and empathetic manner, working to resolve issues and foster positive relationships within the organization. Collaborate with management to develop and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
